    Jonan Nduhuura 

    Jonan NduhuuraJonan Nduhuura is a Part-time Lecturer in the Department of Community and Disability Studies, Faculty of Special Needs and Rehabilitation, Kyambogo University. He a pioneer graduate of Bachelor of Arts in Social Work and Community Development (B.SWCD) that begun in 2006 and attained Second Class-Upper Division degree of Kyambogo University in 2010. He attained Post Graduate Certificate in Project Monitoring and Evaluation in 2010 and Professional Certificate in Business Process Outsourcing in 2011 awarded by Makerere University/National Information Technology Authority (NITA). He is currently pursuing Masters in Social Sector Planning and Management (M.SSP&M) at Makerere University.

    Jonan has 8 years of teaching/working experience at University and he has been teaching Social Work related Courses, Social Policy Analysis, Guidance and Counseling and Management of Social Deviance. He has served as a Departmental Industrial Training College/Community School Practice (ITCSP) and Research Coordinator and worked as Faculty of Special Needs and Rehabilitation Representative on Kyambogo University ITCSP Committee for a period of 2011-2017. He has been actively engaged in Programmes Review in the Department such as of Bachelor of Arts in Social Work and Community Development and Bachelor of Community Based Rehabilitation. He also made significant contribution in Curriculum Development of Bachelor of Community Development and Social Justice in 2015.  He is a qualified Social Worker and Social Development Specialist passionate in promoting live hood and rights of all vulnerable groups. He has worked with Children, Youths, Women, Refugees and PWDs at different platforms and participates in community services with some NGOs operating in Uganda. He participated in development of Uganda Child Protection Policy.  He is a researcher and a Freelancer Trainer in areas of Community Based Facilitation, Inclusive Development, Agribusiness and Skills Development, Organizational Management and Sexual Reproductive Health Education.
