Mr. Roland Niwareeba is the current Head of Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering-Kyambogo University. He is a graduate of Telecommunications Engineering of Kyambogo University and he also has an MSc in Microelectronic and Communications Engineering of Northumbria University, UK. He is CCNA certified and he has over six years of teaching, research, industrial and administration experience.
His research interests are mainly in digital and image processing, biomedical electronics and control systems.Roland is a member of Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) and he has interest in academic and has passion for teaching , research and student mentorship. He is married with one daughter.

Dr Excellence Favor
Dr Excellence Favor is a lecturer in the department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering- Kyambogo University. She heads the Telecommunications Engineering section in the department. She has a PhD in Telecommunications of the University of Dar es Salam, MSc in Telecommunications (by Thesis/Research) of the university of Dar es Salam, a BEng in Telecommunications Engineering (1st class) and a higher diploma in Electrical Engineering (Kyambogo University). She is a board member at NITA and a member of ATPS. Dr Excellence has a number of publications in telecommunications engineering.
Mbiika Ceriano is a professional in Electronics and Telecommunication engineering. He previously served as a projects coordinator AND is now currently serving as Industrial Training Coordinator for the Department of Electrical and Electronics. He is a graduate of Telecommunications Engineering of Kyambogo University (1st Class) and he also has a Master's of Science in Telecommunications Engineering from the Universita' DegliStudi Di Trento - Italy (Thesis Cumlaude). He is CCNA certified and he has over five years of teaching, research, administration, and Industrial experience.
His research interests are in instrumentation, networking, heterogeneous wireless networks and electronics.

Birabwa Denise Joanitah
Birabwa Denise Joanitahis an Assistant Lecturer in the department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering Kyambogo University, Uganda. She received a BSc degree in Telecommunications Engineering in 2011 from Makerere University, Uganda and an MSc degree in Telecommunications in 2014 from the University of Trento, Italy. Her research interests include Cognitive Radio Networks, Charging systems in Telecommunications Networks, Physical layer security and Smart grids

In December 2016, Mr. Aruho Joseph completed a professional development programme as a Trainer of trainers (TOTs) in small hydropower plants operations and maintenance at University of Dar esSalaam(UDSM) funded by African Union (AU) through East African Community (EAC) and Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development (MEMD)-Uganda. He has a MSc. in Electrical Engineering from Makerere University (MUK) and other qualifications from Kyambogo University (KYU) and former Uganda Polytechnic Kyambogo (UPK) as indicated above.

Jaswant Singh Bilkhu is a Senior Chief Clinical Technologist in National Health Services (NHS) Hospital in the United Kingdom, UK. He has worked in the NHS for over 30 years and is a manager of the department now.He specializes in the Oncology cancer treatment machines, ophthalmic and surgical Lasers and diagnostic Ultrasound machines. He has done the HNC Electronics and management diploma in the United Kingdom. He is also doing the volunteering with Amalthea Trust and is the Project coordinator for the Trust.
