Mukasa Joseph is a part- time Teaching Assistant in the Department of Community and Disability studies-Kyambogo University. He has served the department since 2013 and has undertaken various activities including preparing and delivering lectures; Departmental curricula review of different progrmmes; supervising undergraduate research projects and fieldwork. Currently, Joseph is serving as a member of the Departmental ITCSP committee
Joseph is currently pursuing a master’s Degree in Social Sector Planning and Management at Makerere University (the research entitled “Accessibility to Microfinance services by Persons with Disabilities in Kampala central Division-Kampala City”). In the year 2012, he graduated with a Degree of Bachelor of Arts in Social Work and Community Development (first class honours) of Kyambogo University (Undergraduate Research entitled “Factors contributing to child labour in Nyamitanga Division- Mbarara Municipality”). Joseph also holds a certificate in Administrative law from the Law Development Centre-Kampala.
Joseph is looking forward to developing his career in this field of academia and is very passionate about Community Development work. His research interest is in the field of Inclusive Community Development.
