The following new programmes have been developed:

Bachelor of Hotel and Institutional Catering (BHIC). It is a three year programmes. It went up to council level but shelved on grounds that the department lacks adequate facilities and infrastructure. to run the programmme. The department has time and again requested for procurement of new equipment for the nutrition section.

It is hoped that this programme will be re-tabled through senate and back to council for onward submission to NCHE as soon as possible. We have many people out there who wish to join this programme.

    1. Masters in Nutrition and Governance developed and awaiting presentation at Faculty level.
    2. Diploma in Community and Public Health has also been designed and is to be presented to the Faculty Board.
